Monohulls

Monohull subtitle

In the mid '90 Intermarine, under the Rodriquez brand, revolutionized the market introducing the "Guizzo", a 100m, 47 knots Monohull Fast Ferry for the transport of passengers and vehicles, the first of the so-called TMV series.

The TMV series encompass vessels, built in aluminium or steel, in the actual range from 40m to 70m. In order to satisfy customer requirements the range could be about 120m.
The TMV range of monohulls is the premier form of high-speed transportation of passengers and vehicles with unparalleled stability and comfort in the most demanding sea states.
Supplied to a variety of clients all over the world, the Intermarine range of TMVs is custom designed to meet the demands of any owner's specific requirements: from overall size to payload capacity, from speed to interior design, each fast ferry is "unique". Worth to mention are the TMV 84 (such as "Princess", built for a Jordanian shipping company and the "Ramon Llull", built for a Spanish operator)
The TMV 115, "Federico Garcia Lorca" (also built for a Spanish shipping company and delivered in June 2001) has been internationally recognised as the premier fast ferry able to transport 900 passengers, 220 cars and 30 trucks at a cruise speed of 40 knots.
The increasing customer attention towards the reduction of fuel consumption has recently reduced the request of the fast ferries of high performances and high dimensions. For this reason Intermarine is today focusing on monohull Fast Ferries up to 70m.
